1. Income & Benefits Criteria

  • Universal Credit
  • Pension Credit
  • Income Support
  • Employment & Support Allowance
  • Jobseeker's Allowance
  • Jobseeker's Allowance
  • Child Tax Credits
  • Working Tax Credits

2. Household Criteria

Even if you don’t receive benefits, you may still qualify based on your home’s EPC rating and your total household income:

  • Your home has an EPC rating of D, E, F or G (we can check this for you)
  • Total household income less than £31,000 per year (before tax)
  • At-risk groups may qualify (elderly, disabled, families with young children)
  • Currently using expensive heating methods (electric, LPG, oil, or solid fuel)

3. NHS Referral

You may qualify if you have a health condition made worse by cold homes. A GP or NHS Trust can refer you for ECO4 support.
